director of Alzheimer’s SA in the Western Cape was Instudio to tell us more about Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. On Friday, September 21st is the World Alzheimer's Day. Statistics show that
dementia affects one in 20 people over the age of 65 and one in 5 people over
the age of 80.
The theme
for World Alzheimer's Day is “Dementia: living together” and focuses on reducing the
stigma associated with dementia and encouraging the creation of
dementia-friendly communities. For more
