September 21st marks the World Alzheimer's Day

Jill Robson - Regional director of Alzheimer’s SA in the Western Cape was Instudio to tell us more about Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. On Friday, September 21^st is the World Alzheimer's Day. Statistics show that dementia affects one in 20 people over the age of 65 and one in 5 people over the age of 80. The theme for World Alzheimer's Day is “Dementia: living together” and focuses on reducing the stigma associated with dementia and encouraging the creation of dementia-friendly communities.
