NFVF introduces Female Only Filmmaker Project

We heard from Thandeka Zwana - Production and Development Executive for the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF). She was speaking to us about their Women Filmmakers Project. The NFVF is introducing an annual programme to provide opportunities to enable female filmmakers to develop, write, direct and produce ten one hour films. It will provide recent female entrants into the industry, particularly those from historically disadvantaged backgrounds, with an opportunity to make a film in collaboration with other women as successful applicants will be guided in the development of their stories into 48 minute scripts over a period of 5 months. All eligible applications must be submitted as hard copies before September 28th, 2012. For further information you can visit www.nfvf.co.za or send an email to thandekaz@nfvf.co.za
