Dene and Lauren
In today's show, we were joined by Dene Benjamin and Lauren Fuller - 4th year UCT Occupational Therapy students. They were speaking to us about the support employment programme that they currently running at Vanguard Community Health Centre. The programme aims to bridge the gap between people with disability and the open labour market after both students noted many issues such as the realisation of people with disability’s rights and the opportunities available to persons with disability in the workplace whilst working at the Centre that serves the areas of Bonteheuwel and Langa in Cape Town. The programme will run until October 26th, 2012. For further information you can contact (021) 695 3849 or send an email to vanguard.se@gmail.com
