In today's show, we were joined by Keegan Lakay - Legal Officer at the Commission for Gender Equality, Leonard Macakathi - Education Officer and Melanie Dugmore - Provincial Manager of the South African Human Rights Commission to tell us more about women’s rights in South Africa and the role played by these institutions in promoting equal and human rights. They discussed their mandate, functions and Legal updates of both the Commission for Gender Equality and the Human Rights Commission.
