Capaciti1000 internship programme invites unemployed graduates

Akhona, Thando, Vuyo & Nancy
We closed off with an interview with Nancy Mina - Capaciti1000 Programme Director, Thando Sipuye - Media, Marketing and Events assistant, Vuyo Moni - 2012 IBM programme intern and Akhona Ngoma - speaking to us about their recruitment for the Capaciti1000 internship programme. They run an internship programme called capaciti1000 which is a training, internship and intern support to fast-track non-IT graduates into IT careers in critical short supply, as well as to address systemic challenges that restrict the supply of high quality, employable, "industry ready" Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics and Software Engineering graduates. They currently are recruiting for their SAP and IBM programs for next year. The Cape IT Initiative was established in 1998 as a non-profit organization to develop and support the ICT industry in the Western Cape. For further information you can visit www.capaciti1000.org.za or check them on facebook or follow @CapaCITi1000 on twitter.
