13 July - Arts, Culture and Environment - “The Bus” to premiere at Milnerton Playhouse

In today's show, we spoke to Wayne Hendricks – Director of “The Bus”. James Lantz’ s thought provoking play “The Bus” will be staged at the Milnerton Playhouse from July 20th to 28th, 2012. It is said to be a story that is both touching and suspenseful, exploring sexual awakenings against the background of powerful church influences. The play was first performed Off-Broadway in New York City in 2011 and received rave reviews. They say the subject matter is such that it will appeal to a diverse audience as it did in the United States, however there is strong language and mature themes which may be offensive to some. It’s at Milnerton Playhouse, Pienaar Road in Milnerton. From the 20th to the 27th of July at 20:00 PM and on the 28th of July at 14:00 PM & 20:00 PM. Tickets costs R60 and R55 for the matinee: Saturday 21st July: 2for1 special. Bookings can be made online: www.milnertonplayers.com or send an email to bookings@milnertonplayers.com alternatively call 082 267 1061.
