04 July - Gender - Khayelitsha Peoples Trust to host a Woman’s Dialogue Conference

In today's show, we spoke to Ntombentsha Maureen Lonzi - Vice Chairperson of Khayelitsha Peoples Trust. She was speaking to us about the free Woman’s Dialogue Conference that they will be hosting. Khayelitsha Peoples Trust decided to host an Interacting 2 day Conference with Khayelitsha women and outside communities including both white and black to share and learn from the experiences of others, and to prepare for the future.The theme and subject of discussion will be ‘Moral Regeneration of Society and Business’ as it will cover the woman with her family and how to cope in the business environment. A Gala Dinner will also be held on August 3, 2012 at the Look-out-Hill Hall from 7pm. Tickets cost R150 per person or R1500 for a table.
