We closed off with an interview with Shaheed Ebrahim - Founder of Escape to the Cape. He was here to talk about the award that he recently received. Ebrahim won the 2012 Emerging Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year Award (ETEYA) which recognises outstanding new-entrant, black-owned SMMEs in the tourism industry. The prize includes a R100 000 cash injection into his business and a 12 month mentorship programme facilitated by Tourism Enterprise Partnership (TEP).
