In today's show, we spoke to Jenny Hobbs – Director of the Franschhoek Literary Festival. The aims of the festival are to promote mostly South African writing and reading at informal events in a village setting, to foster a vibrant culture of reading and to raise funds for community and school libraries in the Franschhoek valley. The festival will take place at various venues in Franschhoek from today till Sunday, the 13th of May.
