"Whisper not", say those affected and infected by HIV/AIDS
We also heard from Mthokozisi Radebe and Jean-Claude Puati Bazola. They are featured in a book titled Whisper not, which tells the short stories of 15 authors from five African countries who are either affected or infected by HIV/ AIDS. This is an initiative by the Openly Positive Trust, a public benefit organisation helping to build a supportive, less stigmatised environment for people living with HIV to disclose and live positive, fulfilling lives. People living with and affected by HIV speak for themselves through the African tradition of storytelling, giving hope to other people. For more information visit www.openlypositive.com
