In today’s show, we spoke to Dr Marek Blaszczyk. We were discussing the importance of having a mammogram. It is reported that Mammograms have a bad reputation for being painful and are high on the list of dreaded doctor’s visits for women but it is recommended that all women over the age of 40 undergo annual mammograms, and women of all ages should self-examine their breast at least once a month for lumps or other changes in the breast. Dr Blaszczyk explained more. For more Information you can contact their offices at (021) 392 7167 or send a fax to (021) 392 0938. They are based at Mitchell’s Plain Medical Centre in Mitchell’s Plain.
