10 June - Arts, Culture & Environment - Nants' Ingqayi Art Development to be featured at the Umbhiyozo Youth Festival
In today's show we spoke to Thoko Ntshinga – Director at Nants' Ingqayi Art Development. They will be featured at this year's Umbhiyozo Youth Festival. The festival, running till the 19th of June is said to connect several performing arts genres such as music, dance, praise poetry and choral performances with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra into a vibrant experience at the Artscape Theatre. This is a project of the Artscape Indigenous Arts Department. The Battle of Youth Jazz Big Bands is on the 16th of June @ 15:00. Indigenous Dance, Music and Praise Poetry on the 17th of June @ 19:30.
