Sonke Gender Justice Network shows a Red Card against child sexual exploitation
We were also joined on the line by Leo Mbobi – from Sonke Gender Justice Network. We were talking about the Red Card against child sexual exploitation campaign. This is a is a joint campaign by Sonke Gender Justice Network and Grassroot Soccer to prevent child sexual exploitation in Southern Africa during and after the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It is reported that child sexual exploitation affects millions of girls and boys globally and is a growing problem in southern Africa. Leo explained more about the campaign.
