Mauritz – from Men Understanding Respect and Love or MURAL was also part of the show. This is a support group for abusers; it consists of those who have stopped and those who are trying to stop physical, emotional, verbal, financial and/or sexual abuse of their partners. We heard from Collette Solomons – Deputy Director of Women on Farms. This is a non-governmental organisation that works with women who are involved with commercial agriculture, mainly in the Western Cape. The project was started as an initiative aimed at meeting the specialised needs of women who live and work on farms.
