Today we spoke to Mukelani Dimba – Training Consultant from the Open Democracy Advice Centre. Their mission is to promote open and transparent democracy and also to foster a culture of corporate and government accountability. And we were also joined by Mireille Affa’ a Mindzie – Senior Project Officer from the Centre for Conflict Resolution. The centre aims to contribute towards a just and sustainable peace in Africa by promoting constructive, creative and co-operative approaches to the resolution of conflict through training, policy development, research, and capacity-building. They recently hosted a seminar on the rights of children affected by armed conflicts in Africa. The subject was “Strengthening the African Union Framework for the Protection of Children Affected by Armed Conflict”. Our last interview was with Mildred van der Scholtz, Sam hristov and Ibrahim Ajam from the South African Law School.
